Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Red Seal Automotive Service Technician to join our team at VANC ADESA Vancouver. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues, conducting vehicle inspections, and providing guidance to apprentice technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues and recommend repairs
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical problems, including brake jobs, exhaust system repairs, and transmission work
  • Perform routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and vehicle check-overs
  • Provide guidance and training to apprentice technicians to help them develop their skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective vehicle repairs
Requirements
  • Red Seal Automotive Service Technician Certification
  • Experience in repair and service of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems and components on a variety of vehicles
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Basic computer skills and ability to utilize smartphone
  • License to complete Motor Vehicle Inspections (MVI) an asset
