Job Title: Automotive Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Ironwood Auto Service Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial transport trucks and automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust units to specifications
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Coach and instruct apprentices
  • Change engine oil and lubricate running gears or moving parts of automobiles, trucks, or heavy equipment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
