Senior Risk Control Specialist

Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Risk Control Specialist with extensive knowledge in Directors and Officers (D&O) and Crime insurance to enhance our Corporate Specialty Lines division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research, development, and project management for strategic corporate Specialty Lines initiatives.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure adherence to corporate standards, delivering quality service and effective insurance risk management.
- Review and make decisions on referrals that exceed the authority of our underwriting teams.
- Perform business and underwriting due diligence, including regulatory and compliance assessments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on regulatory submissions and filings to Insurance Regulators.
- Engage in regulatory and industry meetings.
- Participate in audits of accounts managed by Specialty Solutions to ensure quality control.
- Develop, review, and update technical policy documentation and manuals as necessary.
- Contribute to the creation of new products and corporate guidelines aimed at effective insurance risk management and enhancing profitability.
- Support analysis of growth and profitability.
- Assist in the product approval process and strategic account evaluations.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will possess significant experience in underwriting various forms of D&O and Crime insurance, including Public, Private, and Not-for-Profit entities. The ability to manage multiple priorities and projects is essential.
Strong project management capabilities are required, including skills to lead, initiate, monitor, and finalize projects. Candidates should be adept at making timely decisions in high-pressure situations, addressing complex challenges, and providing informed recommendations.
