Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the global program quality and impact team, ensuring that programs are designed and implemented to meet the needs of children and young people.
  • Program Development: Develop and implement high-quality programs that deliver impactful results for children and young people, in collaboration with country offices and other stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of program quality and impact professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality programs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders, including country offices, donors, and partners, to ensure that program quality and impact efforts are aligned with their needs and expectations.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation systems to track program progress and impact, and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree: In a relevant field such as international development, education, or social sciences.
  • 10+ years of experience: In a senior leadership role, with a focus on program quality and impact, preferably in an international development context.
  • Strong leadership skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a team of professionals, and to provide guidance and support to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality programs.
  • Excellent communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including country offices, donors, and partners, to ensure that program quality and impact efforts are aligned with their needs and expectations.
  • Strong analytical skills: Ability to analyze data and make recommendations for improvement, and to develop and implement monitoring and evaluation systems to track program progress and impact.
