About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Coordinator to join our Architecture Department in Ottawa. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing architectural services to support the company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing budgets and reviewing quarterly estimated cost to complete reports for each community.
  • Coordinate, review, and revise architectural drawings to ensure compliance with Mattamy standards and Ontario Building Code requirements.
  • Participate in Value Engineering of new designs and prepare architectural memos, miscellaneous details, and drawings as required.
  • Manage electronic storage and distribution of architectural drawings and construction documentation.
  • Conduct site visits to correct or improve information shown on working drawings and review exterior colours and detailing.
Requirements
  • Architectural Technology Diploma from a Community College or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of construction or architectural experience, with residential construction preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and visually through the use of architectural drawings.
  • Working knowledge and skills with drawing application programs, particularly AutoCAD.
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to check documents/drawings for accuracy and communicate detailed changes.
