Job Title: Support Staff - Educational Assistant

We are seeking a Support Staff - Educational Assistant to join our team at The Wolf Creek School Division.

Job Summary:

The Support Staff - Educational Assistant will provide individual and group assistance to students in individual and classroom settings. This is a casual position, and the successful candidate will be required to work on a short-notice, flexible schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group assistance to students in individual and classroom settings.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement strategies to support student learning.
  • Assist students with academic and personal tasks, as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and other support staff to ensure a smooth and supportive learning environment.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with students in a school setting.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented learning environment.
  • Flexibility to work on a short-notice, flexible schedule.
  • Experience as an Educational Assistant would be considered an asset.
