Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Burrito Guyz. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared to our high standards.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet our quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.
    • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future improvements.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that our customers receive their orders promptly and accurately.
    • Establish work schedules and delegate tasks effectively, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a physically demanding role.
    • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client-focused with excellent oral communication skills.
    • Efficient interpersonal skills and a team player attitude.
    • Flexibility and initiative to adapt to changing situations.
Work Conditions

This is a permanent position with a 32-hour workweek. The language of work is English.
