Diagnostic Imaging Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Diagnostic Imaging Assistant to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging Department, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with various tasks, including transfers and data entry
- Support non-patient care functions, such as maintaining departmental records and supplies
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient and effective departmental operations
- Perform other related duties as required
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- One year of experience with computer systems, including data entry and retrieval
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to set priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in Diagnostic Imaging an asset
Working Conditions:
- Shift work required, including evenings, nights, and weekends
- Long assignment full-time position, approximately 24 months
- 75 hours biweekly
Compensation and Benefits:
$23.37 hourly
Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
