In the role of Client Relationship Partner, you will be an integral part of the LifeWorks Growth and Strategic Partnerships team, responsible for nurturing and developing essential strategic alliances. Collaborate with various business units and product teams to uncover and evaluate opportunities, including potential cross-selling avenues within our extensive organization.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Employing a consultative methodology to collaborate with strategic partners, crafting a mutually advantageous strategy that aligns with their primary objectives and fosters revenue growth.
  • Establishing a structured plan for ongoing engagement with strategic partners, promoting innovation and enhancing the overall partnership.
  • Working closely with sales and leadership in strategic partnerships to ensure cohesive collaboration across business units, driving product engagement throughout the LifeWorks partner network.
  • Utilizing the full spectrum of LifeWorks products and services, alongside our broader partner solutions, to develop a comprehensive growth strategy that addresses partner needs and goals.
  • Safeguarding existing revenue by ensuring partner satisfaction, delivering value, and occasionally leading the renewal discussions.
  • Adhering to a governance framework and consistently reporting partnership outcomes to leadership.
  • Grasping the partner's purchasing process and effectively participating in product development and budgeting cycles.
  • Building relationships with prospective partners, nurturing sales opportunities, and navigating complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders.

  • Setting a clear vision, strategy, and plan for deepening and expanding the partner relationships under their stewardship.

Managing complex relationships:

  • Creating connections at all levels within the partner's organization, with a strategy to engage executives and broaden relationships.
  • Effectively engaging stakeholders, including key influencers.
  • Formulating strategies to cultivate and manage national partnerships.
  • Coordinating internal relationships across business lines to implement partner strategies.

Mobilizing internal teams:

  • Overseeing all facets of partner strategy through active management of an account plan, ensuring engagement from all internal stakeholders.
  • Facilitating a cohesive approach to partner delivery, ensuring that teams possess a comprehensive understanding of our partners across various delivery areas.
  • Inspiring and motivating internal teams to achieve high levels of partner satisfaction and to identify and advance growth opportunities.
  • Supporting and holding internal teams accountable for resolving service delivery issues as they arise.

Leveraging the full suite of LifeWorks capabilities:

  • Creating a two-way dialogue with partners to identify market trends, understand gaps, and test new solutions.
  • Mobilizing the right expertise and capabilities from across the organization to deliver optimal solutions to our partners.
  • Designing tailored solutions by integrating all LifeWorks services, solutions, and technological capabilities.

Additional qualifications:

  • Experience in managing and supporting complex partnerships.
  • Proficiency in developing channel or reseller sales models.
  • A solid understanding of the Canadian insurance sector, benefit plans, and the mental health landscape is essential.
  • Familiarity with LifeWorks solutions and capabilities is advantageous.
  • Experience in consulting or HR administration/outsourcing is a plus.
