The Adjuster plays a crucial role in managing claims while maximizing business development prospects. This includes timely marketing and follow-up on opportunities.
To excel in this position, the ideal candidate should have experience in Commercial and Personal Lines Property Claims, Liability Claims, and some exposure to Farm and Agriculture Claims. Familiarity with Auto claims is advantageous, along with the following skills:

Qualifications & Experience
- A university degree or relevant post-secondary education in insurance is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- A commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to identify cause-and-effect relationships.
- Proficient investigative skills.
- Experience in Farm and Agriculture claims.
- Able to draw valid conclusions and communicate them effectively.
- Ability to interpret complex legal documents and perform advanced numerical analyses.
- Possession of an adjuster's license or completion of at least the first four CIP courses, including:
- C11: Principles and Practice of Insurance
- C12: Insurance on Property
- C13: Insurance Against Liability—Part 1
- C14: Automobile Insurance—Part 1
- C110: Essentials of Loss Adjusting (preferred)
Advanced Communication Skills Required:
- Effective written communication, including technical writing.
- Strong oral communication skills, including listening, interviewing, and negotiating, with the ability to adapt style to the audience.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize and manage competing demands effectively.
- A proactive and positive approach to customer service, ensuring timely resolution of inquiries.
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage conflict and challenging situations.
