Irenys is seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to lead the Risk Management Program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT risk management and a proven track record of developing and implementing effective risk management strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Technology Services Risk Management Program Committee and other stakeholders to review and improve the existing Risk Management Program.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies that align with the organization's strategic goals.
- Conduct requirements elicitation and produce formal documents outlining the scope, objectives, and responsibilities of the risk management program.
- Establish processes and policies for managing risks and ensure alignment with organizational goals and risk tolerance.
- Develop communication strategies to educate staff about IT risks and best practices, and to communicate risk management strategies to stakeholders.
- Monitor, audit, and review IT risk management practices to ensure they remain effective and relevant.
- Stay up-to-date with risk assessment methodologies and frameworks such as ISO 27001, FAIR, NIST, or COBIT.
Requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Five years of experience as a senior business analyst working in IT with a focus on IT risk management programs.
- Experience with defining and implementing an IT risk management program.
- Experience in creating and enforcing IT governance policies and procedures.
- Experience in developing communication strategies to educate staff about IT risks and best practices.
- Experience with ongoing monitoring, auditing, and reviewing of IT risk management practices.
- Experience with risk assessment methodologies and frameworks.
- Current certification from a recognized professional business analysis association.
