Job Overview:

Department Insight: TD Commercial Banking addresses the distinct requirements of Canadian enterprises, tailoring a wide array of offerings. As a member of the Commercial Banking division, the Analyst will provide essential credit documentation support to a Relationship Manager, who serves as the primary contact for our clients. This role reports to a Manager of Commercial Credit, who will oversee workflow and offer guidance on credit structuring, pricing, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with a Relationship Manager on a two-person team, jointly overseeing a portfolio of approximately 60 mid-market accounts characterized by moderate to high complexity.
  2. Take charge of the majority of credit documentation for the team, ensuring credits are structured to align with customer requirements while addressing perceived risks.
  3. Conduct necessary due diligence and generate reviews and risk assessments that reflect a comprehensive understanding of Bank policies and procedures.
  4. Proactively track trends and conditions of accounts, formulating action plans for any issues that arise.
  5. Provide consistent and timely service to clients, assisting the Commercial Banking management team in resolving customer challenges with innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

Alongside your undergraduate degree in business or a relevant professional designation, you ideally possess 2-3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or Account Manager within a business or banking context. Alternatively, you may come from a different profession that aligns with business needs and are eager to contribute from a fresh perspective. You exhibit strong analytical and relationship management capabilities and are enthusiastic about further developing these skills in this role.
