About the Role:
The Unit Manager is a key leadership position responsible for providing clinical and operational management for patient care units. This role requires strong clinical leadership, mentoring, coaching, and performance management skills to ensure high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and operational management for patient care units
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders
- Implement and sustain collaborative care and appropriate scope of practice in clinical operations
- Coach, mentor, and lead team members in the delivery of quality care and clinical quality improvements
- Resource utilization will be relevant, efficient, and effective
Requirements:
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing required
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership role (Charge Nurse, Nurse Educator, Professional Practice Lead, etc.) an asset
- Demonstrated experience in critical care, emergency, and observation room required
