Job Title: Infection Prevention and Control Specialist

Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) is seeking a highly skilled Infection Prevention and Control Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of infection control programs in our projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement infection control policies and procedures
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures to prevent the spread of infections
  • Provide training and guidance to healthcare staff on infection control practices
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to infection control
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of infection control programs

Requirements:

  • Degree in nursing, medicine, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in infection control
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Fluency in English and French (or other languages as required)
