Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Health Records Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the accurate and efficient management of patient health information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain meticulous and up-to-date patient health records in accordance with established protocols and regulations.
  • Process and manage incoming and outgoing patient documentation, ensuring confidentiality and security.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to obtain and verify patient information.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding patient health records in a timely and professional manner.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices for health records management.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare documentation standards and procedures.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of services provided by Ontario Health atHome
  • Ability to speak French or another second language
