About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Investment Officer to join our team at DIF Management Canada ULC. As a key member of our investment team, you will be responsible for evaluating financial risk, managing investment portfolios, and providing expert advice to clients and senior company officials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate Financial Risk: Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to identify potential risks and opportunities for growth.
  • Manage Investment Portfolios: Develop and implement investment strategies to achieve optimal returns for our clients.
  • Provide Investment Advice: Offer expert guidance to clients, senior company officials, and other stakeholders on investment decisions.
  • Analyze Investment Projects: Conduct in-depth analysis of investment opportunities to determine their feasibility and potential for return.
  • Assist in Budgeting: Collaborate with the finance team to develop and implement operating and investment budgets.
  • Develop Risk Management Plans: Create and implement plans to mitigate financial risk and ensure the stability of our investment portfolios.
  • Perform Administrative Tasks: Manage administrative duties related to investment portfolio management, including data analysis and reporting.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in a relevant field, such as finance or business.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in investment portfolio management or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in data analysis software, MS Excel, MS Office, and other relevant tools.
Work Environment
  • Workplace: Hybrid work arrangement, with a mix of remote and in-office work.
  • Hours: 40 to 80 hours per week, depending on the needs of the team.
