As a key member of our Private Investment Counsel team, you will be responsible for providing expert investment advice and guidance to our clients, while also supervising and mentoring our Associate Advising Representatives (AARs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Portfolio Management:
    • Develop and implement investment strategies that align with clients' financial goals and risk tolerance.
    • Supervise and approve AAR recommendations to ensure suitability and alignment with clients' objectives.
    • Monitor and analyze client portfolios to ensure they remain aligned with clients' financial goals and risk tolerance.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial goals and objectives.
    • Supervise and approve AAR interactions with clients to ensure they are providing excellent service and meeting clients' needs.
    • Collaborate with AARs to develop and implement client relationship strategies.
  • Risk Management/Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and firm policies.
    • Identify and mitigate potential risks to clients' portfolios.
    • Collaborate with other teams to ensure effective risk management and compliance.
Requirements:
  • University degree in a relevant field (e.g. business, economics, accounting, finance).
  • CFA designation required; CAIA designation preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in discretionary investment management, with a strong understanding of investment returns, potential risks, and tax implications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
