About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable individual to join our team at Bester Forest Products Ltd. as a Logging Operations Assistant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sort, pile, and transport wood products in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Clean and maintain machines and work areas to ensure a clean and organized work environment.
  • Assist other logging workers as needed to ensure the smooth operation of our logging operations.
Work Environment

Our logging operations take place in a variety of environments, including noisy, hot, and cold/refrigerated conditions. Staff accommodation is available for those who need it.

Physical Demands
  • Repetitive tasks and handling heavy loads are a regular part of this role.
  • Physically demanding work is required, including standing for extended periods and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail are essential for this role.
Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Initiative, efficient interpersonal skills, and a team player attitude are essential for success in this role.
  • Accurate and organized, with the ability to work under pressure.
