Job Description

The Role:
We are a leading provider of dealership management systems, serving the North American retail automotive industry. Our software platform is used by hundreds of dealerships, and we are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Team Lead in Accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and mentor team members, providing coaching and development opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Provide support and guidance to team members on complex financial issues.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in French and English (speaking, reading, writing)
  • 1-2 years' previous experience in the automotive industry, dealership environment or PBS is an asset
  • High School Diploma
  • Computer proficient with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Effective time management & organizational skills
  • Strong multi-tasking & prioritization
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the USA up to 2 weeks per month
