Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Machine Operator to join our team at Scotian Gold Cooperative Limited. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating machinery to process and package food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate machinery to process and package food products
  • Perform corrective machine adjustments
  • Record production information
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
  • Inform supervisor of mechanical malfunctions or product irregularities
  • Set up and adjust processing and packaging machines
  • Check products for defects and ensure conformance to company standards
Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and efficiency. Our production facility is a fruit and vegetable processing plant where you will be working with a variety of food products.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Team player with a focus on quality and efficiency
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
