As an integral part of the Experiential Marketing division, the Experiential Marketing Intern will play a vital role in executing marketing initiatives and events designed to enhance brand visibility and stimulate interest. The ideal candidate will collaborate across departments and assist the Experiential Marketing Team in conceptualizing events, coordinating with agencies, planning logistics, delivering programs, monitoring key performance indicators, and managing budgets for national events.

Potential events may encompass consumer engagement programs, VIP gatherings, product unveilings, retailer events, virtual experiences, sponsorships, and various other initiatives. Additionally, you will support the management of the Experiential Marketing Fleet and handle daily administrative tasks within the department. We seek a motivated team player who is highly creative, adept at juggling multiple responsibilities and deadlines, flexible, detail-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic environment. You will take pride in your contributions and be eager to evaluate the success of programs against established goals.

By joining our team, you will acquire extensive knowledge through practical experience and ultimately oversee your own project throughout the internship.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with various teams across the organization, including Sales, Public Relations, Logistics, Legal, and the broader Brand Management team, to bring planned initiatives to fruition. Establish strong working relationships with external production agencies, vendors, creative partners, and brand collaborators. Oversee individual project budgets, timelines, and approval processes for both internal and external creative resources. Represent the brand at various events, engaging with customers, Brand Ambassadors, and product specialists while supporting on-site event execution and coordination. Assist the Experiential Marketing team with daily tasks, including planning, CRM communication, lead generation tool creation, and social media strategy. Manage administrative duties and program oversight, including budget and financial tracking. Develop communications to ensure activities are effectively shared internally and with the dealer network as appropriate. Maintain ongoing communication with agencies, Senior Specialists, and department management regarding current event details and outcomes. Compile comprehensive event summary reports, analytics, presentations, and strategic recommendations for management. Regularly review and report on prospect engagement and lead activity to assess program effectiveness. Prepare materials and presentations for meetings as necessary. Manage marketing fleet requirements, including transportation, fueling/charging, detailing, and invoice processing. Perform general tasks that enhance the effectiveness of the Experiential and Partnerships Marketing sector.

Qualifications and Experience

University or College degree, preferably in Marketing or Experiential Marketing, with graduation within the last year. A valid full-class driver's license, access to a vehicle, and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Prior experience in event marketing, ideally with a minimum of one year. Bilingual proficiency in English and French is advantageous. Demonstrated innovative and creative thinking. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Proven team player with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Willingness to travel within Canada and the United States. Well-developed knowledge of the automotive industry is a plus.
