About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Chief Medical Officer to join our team at Alberta Health Services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of healthcare in Alberta.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans for our Strategic Clinical Networks
  • Collaborate with senior physician leaders to advance the SCN portfolio
  • Provide expert advice to AHS operational leaders and key stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Eligibility for medical, dental or podiatric licensure in Alberta
  • At least 5 years' leadership experience in healthcare operations
  • Strong organizational skills and effective communication
  • Ability to manage change and create innovative solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Successful record of achievement as a medical leader
  • Experience in academic medicine and developing best clinical practices
  • Canadian Certified Physician Executive (CCPE) credential
