Mon Sheong Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Resident Care to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing and personal care services in our long term care facility.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and direction to the nursing and personal care team to ensure high-quality care is delivered to residents.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
- Collaborate with the Director of Resident Care to develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of residents.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of care services.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care services and make recommendations for improvement.
- Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse with a current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a long term care facility, with a focus on nursing and personal care services.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
