About the Role

R-Four Contracting Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpentry Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our carpentry crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate the work of carpentry crew members, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the required standard.
  • Provide Technical Guidance and support to crew members, helping them to resolve work problems and improve productivity.
  • Coordinate and Schedule activities, including the ordering of materials and supplies.
  • Oversee Apprenticeship Training and ensure that crew members are receiving the necessary training and development opportunities.
  • Train or Arrange for Training of crew members, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
  • Requisition Materials and Supplies as needed, ensuring that the crew has the necessary resources to complete projects.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry.
  • Work Site Environment: Outdoors, noisy.
  • Work Setting: Construction, repair.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, judgement.
