Job Title: Food Service Counter Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team at Dairy Queen Grill & Chill. As a key member of our restaurant staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring the efficient operation of our food service counter.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate the food service counter, taking orders and serving customers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers, adhering to quality and presentation standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the food service counter, dishroom, and surrounding areas.
  • Restock supplies and ingredients as needed, and ensure that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Previous experience in a food service environment is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
