Pediatric Complex Pain Physician Opportunity

Join a Collaborative Team at BC Children's Hospital and University of British Columbia

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Complex Pain Physician to join our multidisciplinary team at BC Children's Hospital and the University of British Columbia. As a key member of our Pain360 program, you will work closely with a passionate team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to pediatric and adolescent patients with chronic or complex pain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical expertise in the assessment and management of complex pain conditions in pediatric and adolescent patients
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Participate in resident and fellow education and training programs
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols for pain management

Requirements:

  • Fellowship in Pediatrics from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
  • Subspecialty training and certification in Pain Medicine or equivalent
  • Eligibility to obtain a specialist's license to practice medicine in British Columbia
