About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform month-end account reconciliations and investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the HR payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Support the year-end audit process and prepare working papers and financial statements.
  • Perform special projects as assigned, including ad-hoc reports and cross-training.
Requirements
  • Professional Accounting Designation (Chartered Professional Accountant).
  • Degree in Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of related financial experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience, preferably in a non-profit organization.
  • Experience with GL payroll entries and reconciliation within a large organization, preferably with Ceridian.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with MS Office applications and SAP.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
