Mechanical Estimator

PML Professional Mechanical Ltd. is seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimator to join our team. As a Mechanical Estimator, you will play a crucial role in preparing estimates of labour and/or material costs for our mechanical construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for mechanical construction projects
- Develop and maintain a directory of supplies and trade contractors
- Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost estimates
- Utilize quantity take-off procedures to ensure accurate estimates
- Prepare and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms
- Monitor and adjust contract expenditures to ensure project profitability
- 3-5 years of experience in mechanical construction estimating
- College/CEGEP education in a related field
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
