Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Engineer Student to join our Technology and Engineering team. As a Data Engineer Student, you will be responsible for implementing features, resolving bugs, and maintaining our applications. You will also be working on developing data pipelines with Azure Data Factory and Databricks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement features, bug resolution, and maintenance of our applications
  • Write high-quality, well-tested, efficient, reusable, and scalable code following best practices and coding standards
  • Ensure thorough testing of your code to ensure functionality, performance, and security
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by users or discovered during testing
  • Collaborate with developers, data architects, and product managers to deliver on new features
  • Develop data pipelines with Azure Data Factory and Databricks
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Experience building and deploying Cloud resources (Azure preferable)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Hands-on experience writing code
  • Attention to detail, self-motivated, excited about solving hard problems, and approach problems with positive energy
  • Good understanding of application lifecycle including application design and testing
About the Role

This is a 12 to 18 month work term opportunity that will provide you with hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of engineers and developers to deliver innovative solutions.
