About the Role

Mercato Fresh is seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our staff and customers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience in a kitchen environment is an asset.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and physical stamina to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks.
