About the Role

Aecon Utilities is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatch Associate to join our team. As a key member of our dispatch team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and dispatching telecommunications technicians across Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the dispatch team, including managing emails, phone calls, and inquiries.
  • Dispatch telecommunications technicians via email and/or telephone for work across Canada.
  • Learns, interprets, and applies organizational policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintain and organize document files.
  • Assist other staff in office duties as required.
Requirements
  • Fluent in both French and English (verbal and written).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with a focus on deadlines, using initiative and requiring minimal supervision.
  • Work schedule flexibility, including evenings and/or weekends.
