About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at G & B Advantage Construction Ltd. As a key member of our estimating department, you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate and detailed estimates for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate Preparation: Prepare comprehensive estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects, taking into account various factors such as site conditions, weather, and material availability.
  • Project Analysis: Analyze project requirements, including blueprints, drawings, and specifications, to determine work requirements and estimate costs.
  • Cost Management: Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads, and provide economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projects.
  • Reporting and Monitoring: Create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms, and set up cost monitoring and reporting systems to track project expenditures.
  • Contract Management: Monitor and adjust contract expenditures, and prepare and maintain a directory of supplies and trade contractors.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as construction management, engineering, or architecture.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction estimating or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
