About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planner to join our team at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada). As a Financial Planner, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning and advice to our clients, helping them achieve their financial goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify client needs and provide tailored financial planning solutions
- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent communication and customer service skills
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to provide expert advice to clients
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team and department goals
Requirements
- University degree (preferred)
- 3-5 years of experience in the financial services industry (preferred)
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or CFA Level 1 (or higher) required
- Complete Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH) within first 90 days in role
- CIRO Registered Representative (RR) license within first 90 days in role
- Complete Wealth Management Essentials (WME) within first 30 months in role
- Achieve Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation within first 3 years in role

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices
