Environmental Technician in Technical Services

We are seeking a skilled Technician in Technical Services to support our operations. This role is pivotal in our Environmental Technologies division, where you will contribute to various projects by providing precise experimental data.
This position offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on environmental advancements.
Key Responsibilities:- Exhibit strong leadership in safety, adhering to and promoting environmental regulations and protocols.
- Execute environmental, metallurgical, and chemical procedures with minimal oversight.
- Assist in the design, construction, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory and pilot plant equipment.
- Play a crucial role in technical investigations by contributing to the planning of experimental work.
- Gather and document raw experimental data; utilize various software to analyze data and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Operate laboratory and pilot-scale equipment, ensuring quality assurance and quality control standards are met.
- Conduct tests and surveys at various operational sites as part of a project team.
- Completion of a recognized program in metallurgical, mineral processing, or chemical sciences, along with 3 to 4 years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with metallurgical, mineralogical, and water treatment technologies at both bench and pilot plant levels.
- Experience in laboratory mineral processing or environmental operations is advantageous.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset are essential.
- Willingness to travel for offsite assignments.
