Job Title: Senior Risk Manager

Arcadis is seeking a seasoned risk management professional to lead our Mobility Global Business Area (GBA) in delivering effective risk management processes. As a key member of our Project Management team, you will work closely with our project teams to implement robust risk management strategies, ensuring seamless integration with other project management and control disciplines.

As the subject matter expert, you will provide critical support in developing risk management service capabilities, including risk analyses, quality assurance, report writing, and delivering within budgetary, compliance, regulatory, and planning controls. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping us deliver iconic projects with some of the best talent in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver risk management services to clients in compliance with client governance, processes, and objectives.
  • Undertake day-to-day risk management activities, including identification, assessment, management, review, and reporting of risks and opportunities.
  • Produce periodic risk reporting, which may include profiled risk expenditure, impacted risk/contingency drawdown, and risk exposure changes.
  • Develop quantitative risk analysis, including cost, schedule, and integrated cost and schedule analyses, to enable robust forecasting and tracking of risk exposure.
  • Use your knowledge and experience to ensure identification and management of all significant risks to achievement of project objectives.
  • Deliver discrete risk interventions and embedded risk management services.
  • Act as an ambassador for risk management, coaching others in the requirements, processes, and benefits of risk management.

Requirements:

  • 7-10+ years of experience working on large construction infrastructure projects.
  • 5+ years of experience in client-facing positions with strong client/stakeholder management.
  • Demonstrated understanding of project management, change control, planning, and scheduling, cost and commercial management, and reporting.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, and flexible, with the initiative and ability to tackle new projects and challenges daily.
  • Health, safety, and quality focused.
  • Collaborative working style and consulting style approach to clients.
  • A logical approach and ability to think through complex issues to coordinate multi-faceted aspects of projects.
  • Awareness of Value Management processes and techniques.
