About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team at Bad Dog Bar & Grill. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Menu Planning and Inventory: Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization, ensuring that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring that we provide excellent customer service and meet the needs of all our customers.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant or Bar environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
