Role Responsibilities:

  • Educate clients on the best eyewear options tailored to their lifestyle, ensuring they receive optimal value and quality
  • Inform patients about advancements in corrective eyewear solutions and assist in selecting frames that meet their aesthetic and functional needs
  • Interpret optical prescriptions as provided by optometrists
  • Conduct frame and facial measurements to guarantee proper fit and positioning of eyewear, as well as perform repairs and adjustments for returning patients
  • Place orders for contact lenses and assist with fittings
  • Communicate effectively with patients in person, over the phone, and via email
  • Manage billing processes for patients, their medical service providers, and other third parties
  • Schedule appointments and handle prescription printouts, billing, and payments
  • Greet patients warmly upon their arrival
  • Uphold high standards of customer service through effective communication and problem-solving skills

What We Are Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in retail
  • Optical experience is an asset but not mandatory
  • A strong passion for customer service
  • Comfort with technology and computer systems
  • Excellent communication skills to provide outstanding patient care
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
