Unlock Your Potential as a Parts Shipper and Receiver at North Vancouver Nissan

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Parts Shipper and Receiver. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt and distribution of parts to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify quantities received in shipments and notify supervisor of any damage or discrepancies
  • Ensure parts are quickly received and expedited to the appropriate Parts Advisor
  • Label parts with proper part numbers prior to binning and place in storage
  • Monitor part number changes and modify location if necessary
  • Identify and process special order shipments and notify the appropriate person or department
  • Provide information to customers on our product and promote parts sales
  • Perform customer follow-up on special order parts
  • Maintain a supply of wet and charged batteries, boutique, and accessories display
  • Assist internal and external customers at the counter and via telephone
  • Assist with housekeeping of the parts department, stockroom maintenance, and replenishment of stock parts
  • Act as a backup for Parts Advisors

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Parts technical knowledge
  • Knowledge of parts inventory operations
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to exceed customer expectations
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Perform duties with a sense of urgency
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Computer skills: MS Office, Internet applications, ADP, EPC
