About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Executive to join our team at I-WAY TRANSPORT INC. as an Executive Vice President - Operations and Logistics. This is a key leadership position that will play a critical role in driving the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the operations and logistics teams, ensuring alignment with the company's overall vision and goals.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs, ensuring maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions, ensuring the right talent is in place to drive business success.
  • Co-ordination and Control: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments, establishing financial and administrative controls to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Policy Formulation: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs, ensuring they are aligned with the company's overall strategy.
  • Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions, ensuring the company's interests are protected.
  • Talent Management: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegating the necessary authority to them and creating optimum working conditions to drive business success.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in the goods production, utilities, and construction industry.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 42 hours per week.
