Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineering Technician to support our operations at WATER TECH PLUMBING AND HEATING LTD.. This role involves a variety of responsibilities related to mechanical systems and installations.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university program lasting 1 to 2 years
  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
Work Environment
  • Flexibility to relocate as necessary
  • Relocation expenses will be reimbursed by the company
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the evaluation of mechanical installations and construction initiatives
  • Conduct a variety of mechanical tests and analyses on machines, components, and materials
  • Design and develop tools, molds, jigs, and fixtures
  • Estimate project costs and required materials
  • Prepare and interpret engineering designs, drawings, and specifications
  • Draft contracts and tenders
  • Establish standards and schedules for projects
  • Oversee, monitor, and inspect mechanical installations and construction projects
Experience Requirements
  • 1 to less than 2 years of relevant experience
  • Employment Type: Permanent

  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week
