Position Objective

The primary goal of this role is to oversee the effective functioning of the regrading team by managing shift operations, meeting productivity benchmarks, ensuring product quality, and fulfilling operational goals.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Direct the assigned shift in the regrading of produce to meet both internal and external customer specifications.
  • Assist management and supervisors in distributing work to guarantee a seamless and effective operation of packaging and regrading during scheduled shifts.
  • Ensure all tasks and processes are organized and completed punctually.
  • Confirm that equipment and labor hours are utilized according to company policies while upholding standards for service, quality, accuracy, efficiency, food safety, and health and safety.
  • Ensure timely and accurate organization of workflow for shipping and receiving functions within the Regrade department.
  • Manage inventory levels for products, supplies, and labor effectively.
  • Support the department management team in fulfilling transfer requirements.
  • Verify and ensure that product quantities correspond with invoices and transfers.
  • Ensure proper completion of product labeling.
  • Aid in the allocation and storage of products, considering temperature, timing, location, and specifications.
  • Maintain product quality throughout the packaging process and report any issues to department management.

Qualifications for Success at Burnac:

To be considered for this position, you will need:

  • A high school diploma
  • Strong interpersonal abilities
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

It would be advantageous if you also possess:

  • Experience in the Food and Beverage or manufacturing sectors.
