Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior R&D Chemist to join our Research and Development team. This is a full-time, permanent role that requires on-site presence. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Planning and executing research across various cosmetic categories.
  • Developing innovative formulas and re-engineering existing products using cutting-edge technology and raw materials.
  • Addressing technical challenges related to formulas and production processes, providing science-based solutions.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams on pilot and initial production batches of new formulations.
  • Researching and sourcing advanced functional raw materials and skincare actives.
  • Formulating and preparing lab batches, assessing texture, performance, and stability.
  • Organizing lab batches for external testing and reformulating existing products to meet performance standards.
  • Establishing product specifications by analyzing the physical and chemical properties of materials.
  • Identifying necessary validations and testing required during formulation development.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, SOPs, GMP, GLP, and regulatory requirements.
  • Preparing detailed project reports and providing updates to the Project Management team.
  • Managing R&D personnel, delegating tasks, and evaluating performance to achieve company goals.

Qualifications
Experience with formulation software, particularly Coptis, is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should possess a working knowledge of GLP and GMP guidelines relevant to the skincare and cosmetic industry.
