We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at 1481869 Ontario Inc. As a Construction Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, including loading and unloading materials, erecting scaffolding, and mixing and pouring concrete.

Work Environment

As a Construction Labourer, you will work outdoors in various locations, including construction sites, and will be exposed to heights, confined spaces, and noisy environments. You will also be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and handle heavy loads.

Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, and barricades
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications
  • Pave and rake asphalt
  • Assist in demolishing buildings
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
Requirements
  • Own transportation
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
