About the Role
The Brick is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our delivery team as a Furniture/Appliance Delivery Driver Helper. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a physical job, working with customers, and is looking for a career with growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Delivery Driver with route planning and scheduling of deliveries
- Inspect and load products onto the delivery vehicle
- Physically lift and carry products into customers' homes with minimal damage
- Document delivery status and ensure accurate records
- Assemble products in customers' homes and provide excellent customer service
- Handle customer settlements and resolve any issues in a professional manner
Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry heavy merchandise (exceeding 50 lbs) on a regular basis
- High school diploma or equivalent (asset but not mandatory)
- Excellent customer service skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required
- Pass a criminal background check sponsored by The Brick
