Job Summary

Crunch Fitness is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Weekend Morning Child Care Professional to join our team. As a key member of our childcare staff, you will be responsible for providing a safe and engaging environment for children during our weekend morning hours.

Responsibilities
  • Child Care and Supervision: Provide top-notch care and supervision to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Registration and Check-out: Efficiently register and check-out children and their parents, maintaining accurate records and ensuring a smooth process.
  • Activities and Games: Plan and implement engaging activities, games, and arts & crafts projects to stimulate children's minds and creativity.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with parents and guardians regarding their child's needs, activities, and any issues that may arise.
  • Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean and sanitized environment, ensuring the childcare area is free from hazards and clutter.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless operations and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications: Possess relevant certifications, such as Child/Infant CPR, and meet local/provincial laws and regulations.
  • Experience: Have prior experience working with children, demonstrating a strong ability to create a safe and engaging environment.
  • Skills: Possess excellent communication, safety, and customer service skills, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions
  • Hours of Operation: Work Saturday and Sunday mornings, with an average of 8 hours per week, plus additional shifts as needed.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift up to 50lbs, stand, bend, and squat frequently, and climb and hang decorations when necessary.
