Child Care Program Supervisor

Position Overview:

The Child Care Program Supervisor will oversee the after school activities, working from 2:10 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with an estimated commitment of 20 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and engage with children in a recreational setting.
  • Develop and implement engaging programming that promotes fun and learning.
  • Foster a collaborative environment by working effectively with colleagues.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in child care or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of recreational programming principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High School Completion Certificate or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current First Aid/CPR Certification is a valuable asset.

Compensation:

The hourly wage is $18.28, in addition to vacation pay.

Additional Benefits:

Children of employees are eligible to participate in the program at no cost.

Various paid training opportunities are available, including High Five, First Aid/CPR, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, and Fundamental Movement Skills.

Opportunity for Additional Hours:

There is potential for increased hours based on program needs.
