About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Feedback Construction Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in our residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Planning

Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for projects, taking into account factors such as materials, equipment, and labour requirements.

Site Preparation and Execution

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements, and measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Project Management

Supervise other workers, estimate costs and materials, and maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments.

Communication and Teamwork

Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders, and participate in government or community programs that support newcomers, refugees, Indigenous people, and youth employment.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.

Language

Fluency in English.

Work Hours

40 hours per week.
