About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at 1087937 B.C. LTD. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Construction and Installation: Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Measuring and Cutting: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to precise specifications.
  • Tools and Equipment: Operate and maintain various tools and equipment, including power saws, drills, and sanders.
  • Worksite Environment: Work in a variety of settings, including construction sites, outdoors, and in noisy environments.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate with colleagues, supervisors, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
