About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Specialist to join our team at Paradise Construction. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and repair of roofing systems on various building projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Roofing Installation and Repair: Install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles and shakes, and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings.
  • Supervision and Training: Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers to ensure high-quality workmanship and efficient project completion.
  • Project Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials for roofing projects and develop plans to ensure timely completion.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure seamless project execution and excellent customer service.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to inspect roofing work and ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in roofing or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
