As a Roofing Specialist, you will be responsible for installing or replacing asphalt shingles, wood shingles and shakes, and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings. You will also instruct apprentices, supervise other workers, and apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field and a strong understanding of blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications. You will work closely with our team to estimate costs and materials, and ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles and shakes, and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings

  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications

Requirements:

Working Conditions:

  • 35 hours per week
